Places to Visit
LewesLewes Delaware offers the Cape May-Lewes Ferry. Visitors can go from Cape May, New Jersey to Lewes, Delaware and see the Atlantic Ocean at the same time.
You just park your car on the ferry and enjoy the ride. The ride is about 1 hour and 20 min. one way. You must make reservations before you get there to guarantee you a spot.
The Zwaanendael Museum memorializes the first settlement in the Delaware Valley.
It give visitors a look at the long and varied Delaware history. But this is just one stop in Lewes on a popular walking tour!

Bethany BeachThis is also one of Delaware popular beaches. It makes up part of Delaware's Quiet Resorts. There are also many attractions and places to visit inland from the beach.
A lot of attention is at the Bandstand, located at the end of Garfield Parkway and the Boardwalk.
There is a shuttle running from Memorial Day to Labor Day that will take you to all the attractions there. There is also a parade, fireworks, games, and contest every year during the Fourth of July.

Dewey BeachAs a Delaware attraction, Dewey Beach makes one of the most scenic coastlines in Delaware.
A retreat that is ideal for couples, families and retirees.
Dewey beach is three blocks wide and one mile long. On the West of Dewey is the Rehoboth Bay and on the East is the Atlantic Ocean. You can literally park your car here because everything is walking distance.
You are minutes away from either the Beach or the Bay.

Fenwick IslandWatch the Sunrise over the Atlantic Ocean in the morning then catch the sunset over the bay.
Fenwick Island is about a mile long and a half a mile wide. It's between the Atlantic Ocean and the Little Assawoman Bay.

Ocean City, MarylandOcean City is located just over the southern Delaware-Maryland Border and gives you 10 miles of free, clean, and sandy beaches right on the Atlantic Ocean.
The Boardwalk is well known due to it's Amusement Park which is right on the Beach.
They have fine food, nightlife, and fun! But don't forget when you cross that Maryland State Line your are no longer in a Tax-Free State!
