Christiana Mall

Christiana Mall is the biggest mall in Delaware. It's actually one of the places I like to go just to walk around while my wife shops.

The mall is located in New Castle County and is not far from the Christiana Hospital.

It is more "upscale" than the Dover Mall, which is located near the race track in Dover, Delaware. Dover Mall is in Kent County and is a very good place to shop.

But during the NASCAR race weekend, it can be very hectic in Dover from all the out of state traffic.

The mall is about 50 - 60 min north of Dover on Route 1 and is a easy ride for the most part. The traffic on Rounte 1 is nothing compared to I-95 or I-295 the majority of the time.

My wife enjoys shopping there since there is more shoe stores in one place. Although she is not crazy about shopping during the busy hours. I find myself enjoying buying some coffee and taking a seat to watch the people go by.

Now due to the fact that Delaware has no sales tax you will find a lot of people shop at this mall to save on money.
