Now this is not always possible but I have heard nightmares about both real estate agents and loan officers not getting along. One of the best things about talking to a professional loan officer and not just start blindly filling some online application is that all your questions can be answered before your credit is "pulled" or checked. Beware, there are many people that take loan applications. But that does not mean they are "loan officers". Some people are only interested in making money off of the customer.
